Job Overview
Mucci PAC is hiring Forklift Drivers / Farm Workers to support warehouse and farm operations. This is a full-time role for candidates willing to work in a fast-paced agricultural and logistics environment. The ideal applicant is physically fit, safety-conscious, and eager to grow within the company.
Workers will handle tasks in warehouse logistics, farm packing, inventory, and material handling while following established safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities for Forklift Driver Jobs in Canada
- Examine shipment contents and verify against records (manifests, invoices, orders).
- Communicate with representatives to resolve damages, shortages, or nonconformance.
- Record shipment data, including weight, charges, and discrepancies.
- Ensure FIFO stock rotation within facility and coolers.
- Load/unload materials to/from storage or vehicles.
- Stack, bundle, and band materials using equipment.
- Sort and store items according to specifications.
- Attach identifying tags or marks on containers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Install protective devices (bracing, padding, strapping) to prevent damage.
- Conduct daily forklift inspections for safety.
- Report equipment maintenance issues promptly.
- Follow work orders, instructions, and safety regulations.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
- Safe operation of forklifts and ability to perform daily inspections.
- Previous experience in agriculture, vegetables, or related warehouse environments preferred.
- Logistics or warehouse experience is an asset; training provided.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Effective communication in English (written, spoken, and oral).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Knowledge of Famous and RedLine Cooler inventory programs is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Positive attitude, punctuality, and commitment to growth.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand/sit for extended periods.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 23 kg / 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Comfortable working in a temperature-controlled environment (~52°F / 11°C).
- Ability to manage challenging tasks and interactions.
